Respected readers,
Bangladesh, officially the People's Republic of Bangladesh, is a country in South Asia. It is narrowly separated from Bhutan and Nepal by the Siliguri Corridor, and from China by the mountainous Indian state of Sikkim in the north. Dhaka, the capital and largest city, is the nation's political, financial, and cultural centre. Chittagong, the second-largest city, is the busiest port on the Bay of Bengal. The official language of Bangladesh is Bengali while Bangladeshi English is also used in the government and official documents alongside Bengali.
Bangladesh has the eighth largest population in the world but ranks 92nd in terms of income. Islam is practiced by about 91.1% of the population, followed by Hinduism (7.9%), Buddhism (0.6%), Christianity (0.3%), and other religions (0.1%).
Bangladesh is known for its natural beauty and has many popular tourist destinations, including Saint Martin Coral Island, Cox's Bazar Beach, Sajek Valley, Nafakum Waterfall, Sundarbans in Khulna, Ratargul in Sylhet, Nijhum Island in Noakhali, Tanguar Haor in Sunamganj, and Kuakata Beach.
Bengali is the state and national language of Bangladesh, spoken by about 99% of the population. The country is linguistically diverse, with 36 indigenous languages, including 17 Tibeto-Burmese, 10 Indo-Aryan, 7 Austroasiatic, and 2 Dravidian languages.
Several organizations and groups working in Bangladesh with a shared vision have been continuously providing audio bibles in all languages through the cooperation of "Awaaz" (voice). Accordingly, audio bibles and evangelistic films are available in 19 languages so far. You can also listen and watch them, gain spiritual benefits, and use them for personal and evangelistic purposes in your community.
